Marsha should be sending out a progress report email today for those not following along here in the forum thread. Of course anyone not following the thread won't see this post anyway =) Kidding aside, please let me know if you're a reservation holder and didn't get the email. I am a reservation holder and have not seen an email from Marsha. I am loving the progress updates. Any sense of ship date yet? I let Marsha know you didn't get the update email and she resent it. Let me know if you're still not getting it as there may be some issue with the email address we have for you.

Check your junk mail folder. That is where the email from Marsha was for me. John We pulled the email list directly from the Square payment processing platform and maybe 5-7 of them had small issues that "bounced" the emails. typo's like .comm or ..com etc. Other than those, EVERYONE that placed a reservation was included on the progress updates emailing and should have gotten it. I have tried to track down the oddballs manually but some people signed up here in our forums with one email address, and paid their deposit with a different email--not much I can do in those cases.

Update on the battery for those without a frunk plug or who want to also be able to use the water tank outside their trucks sometimes. I think we are going to pass on a 3000mAh option and go with a 6000mAh 10A max version only. That is enough capacity to run the pump for about an hour on a single charge--more than enough as you can drain the 12 gal tank 4 or 5 times. I am posting some pictures below with a typical credit card as a size reference. This is a preliminary test sample we used to test the pump so the wires are still basic--those will be cleaned up a bit for the shipping parts. But still a fairly small, simple, no frills rechargabe battery. LED's to show available charge, an on/off switch, and a wall wart style charger. Not tiny by any stretch, but not huge either. A good balance I think. Price wise I am still working out some of the little details so I don't have the final costs yet, but figure about $25 - $30.

The mold tooling and threaded brass insert parts have been crated up and are in transit to the molding factory in AR.
CNC machining for all the hatch / pump "stuff" is spooling up this week.
We're getting there folks =)

I too have not received any update emails. I just checked my spam folder and didn't see anything there either.

I too have not received any update emails. I just checked my spam folder and didn't see anything there either. I double checked personally and your email address (the one you used to sign up for the forums here) is on the reservation mailing list and was in the BCC for the last update. No bounce back message. I will ask Marsha to resend it.

Not trying to rush you by any means but just wondering if you have a target ship date yet? Does first half of June seem possible?

Not trying to rush you by any means but just wondering if you have a target ship date yet? Does first half of June seem possible? No. More like the end of June to mid July. The original pump being discontinued required a new pump which meant all new electrical connectors and other knock on changes. The mold tooling should arrive at the factory this week and it will take them about a month to mold the tanks and assemble. Again there are still potential unforeseen delays so that is a best estimate--to be safe plan on mid to late July. We are getting close though =)

Posting the update email Marsha just sent out here as a reference: Rivian Frunk Tank UpdateFor more frequent updates on our progress, you can follow along in the forum thread HEREThe mold tooling has shipped and should be at the molding factory any day now. A lot of you have asked for a darker blue than I used for the renders so this is what we are going with. Darker, but not too dark—water blue or “Ocean Blue”. As mentioned in the last update, the pump we originally intended to use was unexpectedly discontinued by the manufacturer and we had to source a new model. That change had a knock on effect for the power plugs and cables which required changes to the hatch cover and internal tubing, etc. so the machined parts were delayed but CNC machining will spool up next week. IMPORTANT---PLEASE READ----IMPORTANTFor those of you without the 12V frunk plug or who want to occasionally use the tank outside of the truck and will be using a small rechargeable battery: You have until Wednesday, June 7, to let me know you want the battery as I have to place that order with the manufacturer by then to avoid delaying shipment.I am including some pictures of the battery below so you can get an idea of the approximate size. I don't have the exact cost yet but it will be in the $25 - $30 range—which is an excellent group buy price. If you intend to use another battery, it needs to be 12V 6A and should have a switch to power the pump on/off. Capacity should be at least 6000 mAh (6Ah) which will give you about 1 hour of run time between charges—enough to drain the tank 3 or 4 times over. IF YOU NEED / WANT THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY, I MUST HEAR BACK FROM YOU BY WEDNESDAY JUNE 7TH TO BE INCLUDED IN THE GROUP BUY.Our ship date—barring any other unforeseen issues—is looking like mid to late July. As always, if you have any questions, please let me know. Marsha

Actually like the new color blue. Would be great if the color scheme stayed consistent across the different products if it is possible. I know with different vendors that might be difficult.
Again, and as always, appreciate everything you all are doing.

Again, and as always, appreciate everything you all are doing. I had not considered this. Not sure how I would feel about a blue Frunk Cooler or Camp kitchen. I can try to carry some of the blue through as accents where possible though.

Contrary vote here. Not sure about Blue camp kitchen/coolers. My vote is stick with black or white and just have Rivian Yellow accents. Although it would be cool, I don't think you should try to offer every color matching option

I do not prefer having the blue accent consistent between products. I lean towards lorenvorreiter's suggestions as long as internal tank cleanliness is a priority consideration.
